I'm a cellist and music educator. My musical journey began in Italy and continued at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, where I earned Master's degrees in Performance and Music Pedagogy. As a certified Suzuki teacher, I'm passionate about introducing children to the joy of music from a young age, even before they start school.
In addition to my work at the Suzuki Celloschule Zürich, I also teach at various Swiss institutions, including the Musikschule Konservatorium Zürich and the Musikschule Region Baden.
Alongside teaching, I maintain an active career in chamber and orchestral music. My experience includes collaborations with prestigious institutions like the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, and with internationally renowned conductors such as Riccardo Muti and Riccardo Chailly.
Currently, I'm expanding my musical horizons by exploring early music repertoire on the viola da gamba, an experience that further enriches my artistic and pedagogical background.
My goal is to impart to my students not only the technical skills necessary to express themselves freely on the cello, but also a passion and love for music, creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
